So, to check whether your Arlo’s subscription has expired or not just follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1 - Just open the Arlo application.

Step 2 - Tap on the Settings option.

Step 3 - Then tap on subscription to explore whether the current subscription is over or otherwise.

Troubleshooting Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera When It is Not Connecting

Your Arlo camera might not connect, so just adhere to the following steps to ensure everything is in place.

Step 1 - Just ensure that you make an attempt to connect your Arlo to a 2.4 GHz WiFi Network

Step 2 - Also make sure that your Phone and Arlo camera are connected to the same internet network.

Step 3 - Make sure that your Arlo camera is positioned at a distance of 10-15 feet from your WiFi router.

Troubleshooting Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera not Connecting to the Arlo Application

Step 1 - Just uninstall the Arlo App from your phone or your tablet and then install it again.

Step 2 - Please ensure that your phone is connected to the home WiFi network.

Step 3 - Then try restarting the base.

Step 4 - Re-add the base and cameras after you have removed them from the account initially.

Troubleshooting Your Arlo Spotlight Camera that is not Charging

It is often observed that your Arlo Spotlight Camera might not be getting charged. This may have been predominantly due to the firmware-related issue. To fix this up just install an updated version of Arlo’s firmware and get the problem resolved.

The Arlo Spotlight Camera not Turning On 

As an initial step, just power cycle your Arlo Spotlight Camera and if the problem still exists, just follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1 - Simply remove all the devices from the Arlo application.

Step 2 - Now slightly hold a paper pin in the reset button below till the time when the power LED turns Green to Amber.

Step 3 - Then wait until the power LED’s and internet light are Green again.

Step 4 - Then launch the Arlo Application.

Step 5 - Tap on Adding Device and then click on Base Station.

Step 6 - Finally sync the cameras after adding the base station.

Resetting Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera

In the last phase of troubleshooting the Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera, the users can reset the Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera by following the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1 - Either open the Arlo Application or just open my.arlo.com on your phone’s internet browser.

Step 2 - Now tap on the Settings option and then go to Devices followed by choosing the Camera you are willing to reset.

Step 3 - Just tap on Remove Devices.

Step 4 - Give your confirmation to Remove Devices from your Arlo account by tapping on Yes.

Step 5 - Now come back to the Devices page.   

Step 6 - Now tap on Add New Device.

Step 7 - Choose your preferred camera followed by reconnecting your WiFi, Base Station, and Smart Hub.
