How to Setup WiFi on Nest Camera?

When it comes to connecting a mobile phone to a new network, the task can be very daunting and you may have to perform all the connection steps once again just to connect your smartphone to the wireless network. However, connecting your Nest camera to the Wifi isn’t that difficult.

Implement These Steps to Connect Your Nest Camera to the Wi-Fi:

Step 1 : Firstly, you need to open the Nest application and select the icon of settings gear that is placed on the top right vertex of your screen.

Step 2 : Tap on Home Info.

Step 3 : Now, select Home Wi-Fi help.

Step 4 : Select update settings.

Step 5 : Now to setup wifi on Nest camera, you will perform all the steps that you performed when you used your Nest Camera for the first time. Click on ‘Nest Cam’ from the list appearing in front of you.

Step 6 : Now scan the QR code that is given at the back of your Nest camera. The moment code will get detected, you will move forward to the next screen.  

Step 7 : Click on Next.

Step 8 : Choose the location of your Nest Cam. This will also help in naming the camera. If you choose home, then it will automatically name itself Nest Cam home camera.

Step 9 : After that, warning page will open up in the setup process. Select continue that is given in the end.

Step 10 : Now in the process to setup wifi on Nest camera, make sure that your Nest Camera is connected to the power source and then hit continue.

Step 11 : After that, the camera will start booting up. Then, a list of wireless networks will show up on the screen. Select your wireless network.

Step 12 : Once you select the network name, you need to enter the password to access the network.

Step 13 : Wait for your nest camera to get connected to the network.

Now, your Nest Cam will successfully get connected to wifi. When you reach there, tap on add another product in case you want to connect your device to some other network. If not, then select done.
